On November 17, 2022, ATFA celebrated the annual ‘Early Thanksgiving Dinner’ event to share traditions and comprehend what we have in common with friends, neighbors, and faith communities including Temple Beth Torah, Providence Presbyterian Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Church of the Holy Comforter and many more with participation by over 100 people.
This was an outstanding event that brought together many faiths in a time of sharing and appreciation which resulted in a greater understanding and respect of these traditions.
It started with blessings by Rabbi Kenneth Block of Beth Torah Temple, Pastor Jon Strand of Holy Comforter Church, and Yusuf Cetinkaya of ATFA Community, followed by a delicious feast and continued with a beautiful musical performance by our young music group.
Overall, people got to know one another and enjoyed the food, music, and table conversations.
We are thankful for having so many good friends around us.
